Years Rolled On
King’s Kids’ Home was started in 1992. It was started out of compassion toward the orphans, semi-orphans and abandoned kids. In the year 1989, an 80-year-old woman named Padmavathy came to Pastor David’s house along with her two grandchildren Priya Age – 6 years) and Sekar(Age-4 years) with tears. She lost her daughter-in-law and her son was unable to take care of the kids as he was mentally unstable. She pleaded and requested Pastor to allow them to stay in his house. After spending a few hours in prayer, Pastor David shared with his wife Mrs Shantha Daniel about the aged woman and her grandchildren. She provided great support and they welcomed them with the divine love of God and provided them food and shelter. Pastor David and his wife brought up these two children like their very own children, with great love and care. After a few months, a pastor brought an orphan girl child named Immaculate Mary to Pastor David’s house and left her in his house to care for.
It all started with four small rooms in a tiled building with one common toilet which could accommodate four people in a room whilst there were about twenty-one children. Today God has enabled us to build a Home of nearly 10,000 sq.ft, built over one and a half-acre of land. The building has all the amenities. Wardrobe, a common dining hall, a prayer hall/study hall, Warden accommodating rooms, Kitchen, office room, storerooms, Guest room, sick room, Toilets and bathroom and an acre of land for the children to play.

How we Started
Pastor David along with his wife welcomed the abandoned kids into their house with Godly love. At that time, Pastor David was blessed with four children and was battling through a very tough financial situation. Despite the situation, they had a strong urge to adopt orphans and care for them. Apostle Merle Gebers – a man of compassion provided financial support to take care of the children. As years rolled on, many children turned up at Pastor David’s house. The negligence of saving an abandoned baby on the street and having had an uneventful childhood confronted Pastor David and he established the “Kings Kids’ Home”. It is by the great grace of God; this ministry has been and is a blessing to hundreds of children
